In Memory of My Girl

img_0197.jpgWell the day any dog owner dreads happened today/tonight.

My precious baby has succumbed to the inevitable – she has now gone onto a better place.

She was everything to me.  I’ve never have had or seen such an evenly tempered dog.  Sure she was ultra possesive of anything that was “her’s” especially her food – but she NEVER harmed or attacked anyone or any other creature.

For now and as time continues to transcend us all I will be posting photo and memories here, for all, but more so for me to NEVER FORGET – the GREATEST COMPANION ONE COULD HAVE ASKED FOR.

Here’s a series of the first/early photos of my darling, circa 2006.

And tonight – time of departure – was taking her home for her FINAL time with us since she was so bad it was a long recovery.  “They were prepping her to head home” – I heard a call of “CODE BLUE – Emergency Room” – I wish to this moment and probably for a long while – that I ddn’t google the term – it’s a coranary/critical condition.  There was a Doctor who was with another dog in surgery – I though that that dog hit a critical stage. NO – it was my baby!  She was getting her catheter  removed and “somehow – collapsed and had heart failure” – We were escorted to the rear emergency area as the staff and the Doctor were doing what they could to stabalize her.  Heart rate dropped to 40 the 30 and NOTHING.  Doctor asked me if CPR could be performed – I asked if they’d zap her with a charge. He stated they’d have to move her off the metal table to do so.  Otherwise they’d have to break her ribs and manually perform CPR.  I said no – I didn’t want her to endure the pain – and further more as weak as she had been after enduring all week (story referenced below as to how she got to this state – later) of treatment – I didn’t think she had it in her to recovery.

So – she ceased at:

My god – that was so fast – blink and she’s GONE.

GOD – PLEASE TAKE CARE OF HER

LET HER ENJOY LIFE ETERNAL.

For she truely is ONE-OF-A-KIND

and DESERVES ETERNAL HAPPINESS AND JOY.

MAY HER SPIRIT BE RETURNED TO THIS EARTH AND LIVE FOR-EVER.
