5th annual Christmas Story convention opens in Cleveland

If you can’t pass a frosty flagpole without cracking a smile or have always secretly coveted a fishnet-clad leg lamp, then hop a plane to Cleveland for the fifth annual Christmas Story convention.

The festivities take place in the house where the 1983 movie was filmed and the museum located across the street, which contains props, costumes and plenty of rare behind-the-scenes shots of the production. If that’s not enough excitement, a shuttle will be running to Cleveland’s annual Winterfest.

This year’s special treat is that the actor who played Randy, Ian Petrella, will be living in the house through the holidays and be available for autographs, talks and hopefully an invitation from someone to spend Christmas with them.
